Based on art Nordic food creators take the audience on a different and sense stimulating journey into a universe of colours, odours and taste experiences. The audience is brought in culinary close contact with food cultures, raw materials, preparation and with the art which inspires food to new kinds of taste, expressions and compositions.
Chefs’ creative hands show the audience how art turn into food and food turn into art and the audience is presented to an interpretation of our Nordic cultural inheritance, identity and values and the Nordic kitchen’s potential is presented and developed.
The programme includes lots of taste samples, a photo contest between a number of the best Nordic photographers competing for the best narrative food picture, confectioner art where the best confectioners in the North conjure with caramel, chocolate and sugar, Today's art synergy, where chefs and artists cooperate and create art on the plate, canvas and sheets of music - and much much more! |
